Sneek - Loosdrecht - Strand Horst

This superb cruise takes you on a journey from the northern lakelands through to the vibrant cities in the centre of Holland - Amsterdam, Utrecht, with many opportunities to enjoy sailing, sightseeing and shopping en route. Picturesque cottages line the dyke at Workum; soak up the sun beside the great lock at Muiden or explore Muiderslot, an imposing red brick castle, built over 700 years ago. Take your bikes and join a cycle tour of Amsterdam or head to vibrant Utrecht and see the famous Dom Tower or just enjoy its laidback café culture atmosphere.

Sneek

Base manager Bernard Zijda welcomes you to Sneek. The symbol of Sneek is the Waterpoort (Water Gate). This gate is unique and is internationally recognised as the logo which Gaastra, sailmakers, use. However, Sneek has much more to offer. It is also the water sports centre of Fryslân and there are many opportunities in the town to get involved in activities on the water.

Strand Horst

Base manager Jelmer de Vries welcomes you to Strand Horst. Windmills tower at the entrance of towns as if to mark your route along the pretty Dutch landscape and thousands of ponds, lakes, brooks and canals flow in every direction to form magnificent aquatic embroidery. When cruising in Holland you soon find that boating is a way of life. Marina Strand Horst is situated in a beautiful, natural environment. This is a luxury resort with a Mediterranean atmosphere and lots of facilities on site.
