Reviews for Aquitaine cruises

We are 3 couples travelling together from Australia. This was our first self navigating boat trip. We have done a river cruise in the past. We were expecting a leisurely cruise down the river and canal.
We enjoyed the quiet river and canal with not a lot of other boats. The scenery was fantastic and relaxing. The small villages were interesting and offered time to wander. The restaurant at Boe was fantastic .
Tranquillity, beautiful experience and most relaxing. Kids loved it.

The boat was fantastic - the weather was fantastic - we'll never forget the crop irrigation system that was over the river that cooled us down!
The Baise River was lovely and Nerac very pretty I would avoid canals and stick to rivers
Having had three previous cruises with Le Boat we were expecting a wonderful holiday. Unfortunately this time there were no memorable experiences partially down to the poor weather.
Due to heavy rainfall we were not allowed to navigate La Garonne hence there weren't many interesting villages or countryside. Most villages only had one restaurant (mainly pizzerias or cafes) and weren't always open so if you had not stocked up on produce you went hungry! Valence d'Agen was possibly the best town en route but the cafe/restaurant in Damazan was very good.
Arrived at base on Sat morning to be greeted by Sebastian. Boat ready and we were soon on our way. Great idea to be able to hire a internet "dongle" for the boat. Unfortuantely it failed on several occasions during the trip. As this was the first time in this region, would have been a great benefit to have uptodate information regarding restaurants/shops etc . You should have a area on your web page were users can leave relevent information regarding each area. Your boat information is well out of date.
Although fairly quiet compared to the Midi, but we had a good time. Most of the towns and villages along the way were worth stopping at. Wild life more abundant. Great cycle track the whole way.
