Reviews for the The Guardians' Cruise

The wild life is fantastic – Heron, Kingfisher, Flamingos, Horses and of course Ducks, Cormorants, and several different birds or prey
We started in St Gilles – Canal du Rhone (Camargue) and headed towards Sete this is a great choice for those of you that are new to boating or worried about locks as there are "NO LOCKS" Worth staying overnight as the town has a lot to offer as well as a great market on Sunday mornings there is also an Intermarche supermarket about 15 mins walk from the base Aigues Mortes was our first stop – great place with its walled city, winding streets and we were lucky enough to be there for one of the many festivals where the bulls run through the streets (no danger as they are guided by horses and the area is partition off with railings) Palavas-les-Flots is a large Mediterranean beach area with lots of cafes/restaurants/bars If you like peace and quiet try a stop at Mas d’Angouleme the beach is long (a bit pebbly) and almost deserted!! be aware there is a section for the naturists but it is very discreet The Abbey is also worth a stop but a long walk from the canal side – take your bike
