According to What's on When, the events will take place in June in the Parc de Roscoff and as well as being entertainment will also aim to raise awareness of issues affecting the developing world.
Each evening will have a different cultural theme, with Catalan melodies, Reggae tunes, Nigerian music and Caribbean beats all on the agenda.
There will also be various stands set up around the park where visitors can find out more about the issues being raised.
Families can stop off in Auxerre as they cruise along the River Yonne and the Canal du Nivernais. Those who wish to explore the town further could visit the Saint-Germain Abbey with its archaeological museum and crypts.
Boating holidays in the Nivernais region of France are available from the cruise bases at Tannay, Decize, Migennes and Chatel Censoir.
