About Angoulême
Please note - Le Boat does not have a physical base (i.e. premises) in Angouleme. We have dedicated moorings here and the Le Boat team will meet you at the moorings to facilitate your arrival and departure.
Angoulême is a delightful city with restaurants, galleries, and boutiques and is also renowned its Comic Museum and for hosting the International Comics Festival. From Angoulême, by cruising 9 hrs westwards, you'll find our base of Jarnac from where it is only another 2.5 hours to the city of Cognac, famous for its brandy distillery. On a return cruise from Angoulême, we would advise turning around here if you wish to cruise at a comfortable pace. However, if you book a one-way between Angoulême and Jarnac, we recommend travelling as far as Saintes before turning around and heading back to Jarnac.

Directions
From the A10, take exit 30 towards Angoulême/Poitiers-Sud, join the N10 and take exit 58 towards Limoges/Périgueux/Angoulême-Nord/Ruelle s/Touvre. Take the exit for D1000 towards Périgueux/Angoulême/Z.I. N 3/Parc des Expos. Continue on D1000. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue on Av. du Maréchal Juin. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Blvd du 8 Mai 1945, then continue straight on Rue Saint-Antoine and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Blvd Besson Bey.
