Oneway: Port Cassafières to Narbonne, via Agde & Homps
Allow 7 to 14 nights
Venture nearly to the end of the canal at Agde, a charming city dating back 2,600 years! Then it’s off to wine country!
Reviews for the The Meridonial Cruise
I would have given them 5 stars but for a few annoying and avoidable things. 1) we arrived early so we could get through the first lock before it closed at 7pm but there was a huge queue of people and so we spent several wasted hours at the base. We could have arrived even earlier to avoid this problem2) Several points to note re handoverBroken umbrella, broken support for umbrella. Full rubbish bin. Beds badly made up so the double bed had a single sheet on it , which meant an uncomfortable first night . Having said all that, the staff at the base were helpful and charming and once all the above was settled we found the boat was comfortable and everything else was great
A lovely peaceful and pretty stretch of water with some interesting sights to visit along the way.
