Reviews for the The Chablis Long Break
The trip was amazing start to finish. The Le Boat staff at Migennes were helpful, funny and made us feel confident in our ability to make the voyage. Most memorable was the tranquil countryside and affable lock keepers.
Recommend shopping for groceries along the way-we cooked nearly every meal and the produce and cheese and wine available along the way were amazing. Would definitely suggest overnighting in Auxerre at the marina. Easy to pull in, pay for over night and there's a fabulous grocery store about two blocks behind the marina. For cooks, it's a wonderful opportunity to see what food stuff are available. There is a great restaurant in Chatel Censoir-I can't remember the name, but the Le Boat people will know and make a reservation for you. Within walking distance.
