Our arrival experience was rather disorganised as staff were unsure of the location of files and computer info. This may have been due to new staff and overstretched existing staff. Consequently we waited a long time before boarding our boat on a windy rainy day. After that things picked up with expert coaching on the water and friendly advice.Good experience following a faltering start. See earlier comments. Good boat.

The Manager at your Benson Base was efficient and helpful and the advice we received from your staff certainly helped our itinerary. We did not have this particular boat so cannot comment. We had a Tango which apart from the few issues mentioned was very much fit for purpose.

The check in desk was very helpful, answered any questions we had and on return was very responsive at checkout. We underestimated the work involved at the locks, and should have done a shorter distance. More information on port or town stops might be helpful. We found most towns had little to no food services or place to buy food items.

Service technique de la base bon. Service commercial moyen.Trop d'options payantes style coussin de pont. Les commerciaux ne connaissent pas les produits par ex il n'est pas possible de prendre un vélo sur Capri (si c'est possible).L'arrivée prioritaire à 13h ,le problème c'est qu'à 13h la base est fermée du coup c'est pas très intéressant vu le prix de l'option.Le personnel de la base (Messac) est par contre compétant et sympathique Voir commentaire précédent

Booking was fast communication ws promt and swift including updates on water levels and where we cruise to. There was a unpleasent smell in the toilet and the grill wasnt very good, however that said i really enjoyed the holiday the boat was cosy and reliable, cruising up and down the river was really relaxing. I have actually booked a further holiday iin a few months time however this time I am trying the top of the range horizon boat

I would recommend Le Boat because they do offer opportunities to hire boats and enjoy boating in some lovely places. The Le Boat people that we encountered in Castlenaudry were all very welcoming, helpful and spoke good English. There were quite a lot of different sizes of boats available and all looked well prepared in that they were clean and tidy. One or two boats looked brand new which made many of the others look a bit tired and dated - but still clean and tidy. We had a great holiday on the Canal du Midi with Le Boat and will certainly do other holidays with Le Boat. The Capri was a good sized boat for 2 people but we still had to work hard at times and figure out how best to handle the ropes coming through the locks - different coming up stream to going down stream.
