Organised, efficient, prompt response to enquiries, simple process to check in and check out. As in previous response, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Service was friendly and minor problems were sorted out immediately. We were given thorough instructions about how to manage the boat and staying safe on the water! There is obvious good communication between Le Boat and lock keepers who were all very helpful too. Very enjoyable, restful trip with hired bicycles, extra freedom on shore too!

Help from UK staff during the booking process and the welcome, briefing and on boat tuition from Patrice and Paul in France was excellent. The boat was very well equipped, the French lock keepers very friendly and helpful and we found some great restaurants close to the moorings on the river Vilaine. It all adds up to a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday

Fantastic team at the Laggan location. This was the first time my family and I have ever done a boating vacation. We very much enjoyed our trip. But it was the staff that made the holiday so enjoyable. The crusader was large enough to give each of us a bit of space, but small enough to manage.

We had a fantastic experience time on our boat trip. It was a first for all of us and everything was perfect, except maybe for the weather but not much Left Boat could do about that! The boats are equipped with everything you could be need, which was great. The boat was really lovely, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. There was surprisingly lots of room even with 6 adults and a dog on board.

Could not fault the service at the Decize base. Everything we requested were met including booking our taxis to Paris from the end base etc We were there for half a day waiting for our friend and we were welcomed to their facilities including showers/coffee/tea etc and provided free wifis. The compound too had huge trees which provided great shade for a picnic. Boat was ready early & were told we could head off if we want or put our luggage in. The facilities at the Chatillon Sur Loire base was not as good but the receptionist went all the way to collect a camera we left at a restaurant in Saint Satur after confirming it was there the evening before! The fridge was not working( apparently we were the first for the season) but it was replaced and we had a punctured bicycle tire along the way and again was replaced promptly. The boat was clean & tidy & in good condition however they missed one person’s linen supply and bed & quilt was left for you to make up. Also we were surprised that although the utensils etc were comprehensive but they do not provide the essentials like dishwashing liquid, sponge/scorers, soap/shampoo/hand wash and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for one week! Would not have minded if we were told beforehand but only found out when we looked arround and meant we were making trips to the supermarket as we realised! The boat was easy to manoeuvre per husband. We had a lovely, relaxing cruise. Informations given were a title out of date or maybe it’s shoulder season because in the smaller villages it was hard to find restaurant or food supply so stock up at the supermarket at the base!! Bakeries fortunately easy to find. Most bigger towns or attractions except for Saint Satur were at least 2.5 to 4.5 km away, so handy to have the bicycles! Locks are fascinating and many spectators too! But the novelty does wear off and make sure you allow time particularly during busy seasons! Sometimes we had to phone the lock keepers as a few times they were not there. It’s worth going pass Chatillon Sur Loire to go through the aquaduct at Briare so allow time for that. Great experience and certainly relaxing!! Great service and comfortable boat and most relaxing way to see parts of france
