Our questions were quickly answered the invoice system is clearly set out. The Vision 5 with x3 cabins was perfect for our group. The fold down bunk in each room gave us luggage storage. Plus the ensuite was well laid out and gave you space to move. Plenty of cupboards and shelves for a couple. The galley was well equipped and the rooftop space and steering was excellent.

The orientation was too short for us to be comfortable maneuvering the boat. It took a long time to learn the use of the "Joy Stick and Bow Thruster." We do feel the model of boat was too large for easy navigation of the canal. Support services were excellent. Response time when we had problems was very quick and service personnel very efficient and helpful. All staff were very congenial as well. Overall, the trip was a wonderful time with good friends and lovely views of rural France. We would recommend your services to others.

I would rate your service Excellent. The person at check in at the Trebes base was absolutely wonderful. Easy, clear, friendly. The boat was great. Having 3 equal staterooms was important. Joy stick made driving simple.

We were on third trip on Leboat boat. First - Midi channel from Port Cassafieres to Homps with a small jump to the sea through Narbonne = that was far the nicest and most relaxing and romantic trip (recommending you as a first trip if you are a beginner). Many locks, but really easy to go through, not big traffic, no commercial boats... Almost all the marketing materials at Leboat pages and catalogues start with pictures from this area. And that area really looks as is in the catalogue, I would say even nicer. Second was in Venice - something totally different, you spend more time on boat, not like in France where you can use bikes almost every day. You see the crowded islands, but again you are close to the sea (was important for us with 3 kids to have possibility to visit 3-4 times the sea during our trip). Venice is easier to reach (train, plane), Port Cassafieres you must reach through smaller airport + longer taxi trip. This year we went from Port Cassafieres through Sete, lakes (Etangs) to St Gilles. That area is not so romantic as the Midi channel, still the sea is close (with nice, clean and mainly not crowded beaches), so if you have bikes, is easy to make trips (I would definitly recommend to take as many bikes as there are people on the boat, that puts extra bonus to your trip, every single day on boat will be different if you can visit the small villages nearby, play tennis or football, go fishing or BBQ on the terrace etc etc.). The Leboat service was great, we had a well equipped and reliable boat Vision 3, with 3 rooms. We were 4 adults and 3 kids, so 2 separate rooms for adults and the children´s room with 2+1 beds was a perfect combination. As first time we had Vision 4, we know that it is a better combination for this amount of people (bigger rooms, bigger bathroom). Except that the Vision 3SL is a lower boat (by 30cm) then 40cm, which makes the navigation under the bridges easier. For a group of 6-10 people who do not have experience with driving a boat, I would definitly recommend a Vision boat (or maybe the new Horizon boats have this option also). The manouvering with Joystick is simply so easy, that even the boat is huge, you drive it like you would play on Playstation :) Since we did the first trip, I am recommending to all of my friends to try this kind of holiday. Believe me, this is completely something else than to spend 2 weeks on sun somewhere on the beach. If you want a real relaxing, spend every day in other village, understand the local culture, food, vine, and to become for few days a part of this life, go onto this trip once. I trust you will go back again and again and again. This is a real relax + fun + active holiday. As we do now for 3 years. When we were first time, our small kid was only 4, but the boat is safe for even such a kid (we know vision 3 and 4), dont worry about the age. Next year our plan is to go to Holland. Again something different, but we are looking forward to spend again a beautiful holiday on leboat boat.. Thank you Leboat... One of the best boats in the fleet, if not the best...

All service personnel that we dealt with were friendly and helpful, making the pickup and drop-days trouble free. Overall, the canal boat experience was wonderful! However, a number of minor issues made the boat appear less luxurious than expected. Things such as broken and difficult to operate venetian blinds in all the bedrooms, broken or bent slats in the bed frames, broken and missing snaps on the curtains in the main salon, etc. These are things we feel should have been fixed or replaced before we took possession of our boat. We wanted to give five stars because of the good overall experience, but dealing with all of these issues every day took away from this experience.

Very professional. Clear joining instructions. The main layout of the boat was excellent, we loved the open kitchen on the top deck. The bedrooms and en-suite were really spacious. But the engine and boat controls need rethinking - having to switch off the main controls in order to use the bow and stern thrusters is a bad design, because they do not react quickly. Previous users obviously had the same problem - all four "corners" of our boat had been damaged.

We hired an expensive boat and it broke down on the 2nd day. The service man came quite promptly but it was annoying that this happened. Also the air conditioning/heating did not work. The lady at check-in in St Gilles and the man that showed us the boat there were both excellent. The worst thing about the boat were the mattresses, they were terrible, very old.
Hi Paul, thank you for taking time to send your feedback through to us. We're really sorry that there were issues with your boat. Please know that a member of our Australian reservations team will be calling you in the next few days to discuss further. Kind regards, Le Boat

Would certainly book with Le boat again...had a great time. Was disappointed however with the condition of the boat. The blinds and curtains were in deplorable condition. Condition of the fittings were poor

Le Boat Australia were excellent to deal with. They got back to me promptly when I booked and also to respond to my questions. They could not have been more helpful. Everything happened on the trip as they indicated. The Vision3 SL was a great boat. Our skipper was very impressed with its steering system which made a large boat easy to manoeuver. There was plenty of room for the six of us. The only thing we were disappointed in was that there is no collection system for the waste which we had to empty into the canal periodically. Really France? In this day and age? It was gross.
